Barry Gill is a talented multi-media artist with a gift for the comic and quirky.

Barry is based in Boonah in the beautiful Scenic Rim in Queensland.

 

I have always been in awe of people that have the talent to produce beautiful art, be it abstract or traditional, modern, or the old masters.

 

Now in my early 70’s, I regard myself as a hobby artist. I never imagined that I would be setting up online with some of my friends, but here we are at “Arts A Plenty Scenic Rim” sharing our art with the world.

 

So, a warm welcome to my part of the website. I hope you will find my efforts interesting. There are several different subjects and mediums, some are comical, some traditional, and there are some quirky items too. I have had some success recently, with my exhibition “Cottages to Cartoons” showcased at the Boonah Regional Art Gallery.  I have also sold work throughout Australia and overseas.  I also accept commissions.

Most of my work is original in thought, and there are some pieces that I found, which inspired me to copy them in my own style.
